Comparison of Child Sexual Abuse Knowledge and Attitude Levels of Parents of Special Needs Children with Normally Developing Children

چکیده
This study aimed to compare parents' knowledge and attitudes of children with special needs normally developing about child sexual abuse. The was cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational design, the sample consisted 228 parents, including 153 parents normal 75 needs. Personal Information Form Child Abuse Knowledge/Attitude Scale for Parents were used collect data. only independent variable explanatory power on level Knowledge Attitude found be educational status. In model created this variable, status explained 2.9% variation total score Scale. Ninety-four point eight percent had no previous education abuse against but informed it. Parents' towards significantly affected by parents. context, awareness should increased through school-based programs organized mental health professionals.
